Recycling Bins Installed on Main Street!

Now there is a place to recycle those soft drink cans and water bottles as you enjoy downtown Ridgefield. Thanks to Boy Scout Alex Hance of Troop 431, eight new recycling bins now stand beside the wrought iron trash bins in downtown Ridgefield. For his Eagle Scout project, Alex secured funding for the bins and had special inserts designed and installed on top to indicate they are for recycling cans and bottles.  A plaque on each bin recognizes donors for this worthwhile project.  RACE is proud to have funded one of the bins, located in front of Town Hall.
