advisory capacity to Ridgefield's First Selectman, our mission is to raise awareness, educate and bring about action for the:
responsible use of energy
conservation of natural resources, and
reduction of waste

Household Hazardous Waste Day - Saturday May 18th!
Get rid of your hazardous household chemicals for free! 9 am - 2 pm @ the Public Works Facility, 4 Turkey Hill Road in Newtown. Includes oil-based paints, stains, fertilizer, gasoline, kerosene, pool chemicals, and thermostats. For a more complete list of what is and what is not hazardous waste, see hrra.org link.
